Configure Plus Dazide – Tank Mixes?
Tank mixes are generally designed to provide a synergistic effect. In other words, you can use lower rates of both products to get the same or greater efficacy. Previously, we tested a tank mix of the branching enhancer Configure (6-BA, Fine Americas, Inc.) and the growth retardant Piccolo (paclobutrazol, Fine Americas, Inc.) and found no synergism between the products. In this video we describe the results of an experiment using a tank mix of Configure and Dazide (daminozide, Fine Americas, Inc.). As with the Piccolo-Configure study, we found no synergism with these tank mixes, but also saw some positive responses when Configure was tank mixed with the growth retardant Dazide.
